Covid-19 Update

Since the start of the pandemic, Allfix have focused on ensuring everyone can get their Fasteners, Fixings, Hand & Power Tools, Sealants & Building Products they need, to supply your essential needs, in a safe environment. Our safety measures are there to protect you and our staff, as we all follow the latest government guidance. Now that strict national lockdown measures are in place again, we wanted to share an update on some of the ways we’re supporting you to buy all your essential needs safely.

It’s a legal requirement to wear a face covering in our Sales Counters at Poole Ferndown and Christchurch

To protect our staff and customers, we won’t let anyone into our stores who isn’t wearing a face covering, unless they’re exempt in line with government guidance. Please also make sure that you wear your face covering correctly – covering your mouth and your nose.

We operate one- way-in and a one way out service

We continue to limit the number of people in our sales counters and we have a ‘one way in, one way out system in place to ensure social distancing. Please help us by adhering to this system.

Sanitise your hands

We have Sanitiser stations in all 3 sales counters – Poole, Ferndown and Christchurch so that you can sanitise your hands, and you’ll find plenty of hand sanitiser at the point of sale to use while you pay for your Fasteners, Fixings, Hand & Power Tools, Sealants & Building Products.

Online shopping, Ordering or Enquiring by phone or email and our delivery service

Our online ordering or enquiry service at www.allfix.co.uk is operational allowing you to order Fasteners, Fixings, Hand & Power Tools, Sealants & Building Products to click and collect or place your order for delivery using our same day/next day delivery service, where applicable.

Telephone sales service remains operational as part of our requirement for the essential trades. Our friendly knowledgeable team are ready to take your call and help arrange collections from our sales counters or place your order for delivery using our same day/next day delivery service.

Our fleet of drivers will maintain a safe distance when they deliver your order, and they will regularly sanitise their hands and equipment. You also are not required to sign for your goods but instead our delivery driver will simply ask your name and they will write this on the delivery note, whilst maintaining a safe distance.

Technical Information

We can also continue to provide assurance on Technical information relating to our products or assist you with drawings and product specifications. Our sales  representatives and our internal telephone sales team are there to assist. Currently, our external sales representatives are unable to visit premises due to current lockdown guidance however, please contact your sales representative or our telephone sales team and we are confident we can find a solution to help.

We are really grateful for your support in following all the guidelines, which help to protect you and our staff. We recognise that these measures are difficult for everyone, but our staff are there to help, whether at our branch’s sales counters or over the phone.
Our staff are working very hard in difficult circumstances to make sure our essential trades are receiving the goods they require, and we are proud to support all contractors working with the many critical services so that everyone can get what they need, when they need it. We continue to run a streamlined sales team but all our normal services including our own delivery fleet. All we ask is for you to be kind, patient and respectful to all our staff please, as we are to all our customers.
